When WPT Venice Grand Prix: Part 1 airs this Sunday at 8pm and 11pm local time on FSN, the eventual final table of the event will feature four Italians, a Scandinavian and a Russian poker player. That lone Russian at the WPT televised final table is Rinat Bogdanov and you’d be forgiven for not recognizing that name.

Prior to this performance at WPT Venice Grand Prix, Bogdanov had not cashed in any major poker tournaments, just some preliminary events. However, 2012 is turning out to be a boon for this talented poker player. At this final table, he is guaranteed at least a €32,195 payday, and due to our prognosticatory skills, we can also tell you that he makes a deep run at another WPT event just a few months later.

Tune in on Sunday night to see how Bogdanov fares against this truly international final table and then come back here for a wrap up on Monday.
