Los Angeles, CA (February 10, 2020) – WPTDeepStacks™ and Club Pierre Charron (Groupe Marval) are proud to announce that the upcoming and inaugural WPTDeepStacks Paris festival, sponsored by partypokerLIVE, will be held in the Palais des Congrès de Paris – Porte Maillot. The series will take place from February 20-March 2, 2020 with the €1,500 WPTDeepStacks Main Event to play from February 27-March 2.
The Club Pierre Charron is the first club to be granted the use of its license outside their premises. This innovation marks a new milestone in the history of the World Poker Tour® in Paris with its WPTDeepStacks Paris festival being the first ever real-money poker tournament held in a congress venue. This new setup will include 40 tournament tables and a streamed final table set. The final tables of the opener, the High Roller and the WPT DeepStacks Paris Main Event will be part of the streaming program.
Le Club Pierre Charron will host its grand opening during the WPT® festival and will exclusively welcome all the players for this special event. To accommodate everyone the Club will offer free shuttles for players to discover the Club, its cash games and other table games available.
The schedule features additional satellites and side events such as the Club Pierre Charron signature events, such as “Charron Poker Cup”, a €400 NLH with a generous 50,000 chips starting stack, as well as “The Magnificent Seven,” a €500 7-handed NLH tournament that players will enjoy playing respectively over the weekend of Saturday 29 February and Sunday 1 March. Palais des Congrès de Paris – Porte Maillot is ideally located in line of the Champs-Elysées, only 10 minutes away from the Club Pierre Charron. It is home to some of the biggest conventions in the city. The club is internationally known for its famous theatre and the numerous musicals held in the venue. It is conveniently attached to the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile hotel. The Club Pierre Charron will offer negotiated rates in the hotel.
