This March, for the fifth consecutive year, the World Poker Tour is heading to Holland Casino Amsterdam Center.
The WPTDeepStacks continues its European tour going to Amsterdam from March 23 to 31, 2019 with the WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam festival at Holland Casino Amsterdam Center.
Poker for All Levels at WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam March 23-31
The third edition of WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam kicks off Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Holland Casino Amsterdam Center. The poker festival features fifteen events and seven satellites allowing buy-ins for as low as €100. The festival will be highlighted by the €1,200 WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam Main Event and €2,200 WPTDS High Roller event.
This season’s WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam Main Event starts on Thursday, March 28, and has three starting flights. The first two have 40-minutes blinds and take place on March 28 and 29 at 2 p.m. The third flight takes place on March 29 at 8 p.m. and will be played as a fast-chance format with 20-minute levels. Registration is open until the start of Level 10, and players are allowed one re-entry per starting day.
In the last trip to Amsterdam, the WPTDeepStacks Main Event attracted a field of 250 entries and saw Christos Economides won €74,760 ($91,955) after beating a field of 250 players.
The WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam festival will use the big blind ante format in all events, starting with the €560 buy-in WPTDeepStacks No-Limit Hold’em Warm Up on March 23. The two-day opening event combines an affordable buy-in with a player-friendly structure, as players begin with 25,000 in chips and play 30-minute levels.
Many other fixtures of the WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam schedule offer great structures such as the two days tournaments €890 WPTDS Progressive Bounty with 25,000 stack and 40-minute levels and €2,200 High Roller with 40,000 starting stack for 40-minute blinds.
The €450 WPTDS NLH, €340 WPTDS PLO, €670 WPTDS NLH Freezeout will offer comfortable structures of 25,000 chips and 30-minute blind levels and will also be played through two days.
Complimentary dinner on Day 1 will be included in two days tournaments
Holland Casino Amsterdam Center will organize a commentary dinner on Day 1 for the players who register in the following events: WPTDS Warm Up, WPTDS Progressive Bounty, WPTDS NLH, WPTDS PLO, WPTDS NLH Freezeout, WPTDeepStacks Main Event & WPTDS High Roller.
Players will be able to enjoy an excellent dinner prepared by the Holland Casino Center restaurant’s Chef during the dinner break.
