WPTDeepStacks is back in the Belgian capital for the second time this season. In November, it was Gregory Luttke-Grech who triumphed out of the 482-strong field to win the WPTDS title, trophy and €102,000* in prizemoney.
Luttke-Grech defeated Sonny Franco (€65,000) heads up, after nine hours of battling across the felt.
Following his win, the Frenchman told WPT.com that he largely planned to reinvest his winnings into more poker tournaments, which is the kind of story that poker dreams are made of. Returning to the
Grand Casino Brussels Viage, the WPTDS tour offers fresh opportunities for poker players to try to recreate what Luttke-Grech has already managed to do.
Though the €1,200 Main Event is undoubtedly the pinnacle of the festival with over €500,000 generated in the prize pool last time, there are many more reasons to take a trip to Brussels with eight tournaments to choose from across the six-day series.
Kicking things off is the €400 Opener, which is followed by the Main Event, the €2,200 High Roller and the €150 Ladies Event. This event, the registration fee has been removed, meaning all €150 will go towards the prize pool.
