Los Angeles, CA (May 29, 2019) – WPTDeepStacks™ will officially kick off Season XVIII of the World Poker Tour® with the WPTDeepStacks Tampa event at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. The WPTDeepStacks Main Event will take place from June 13-17 and carries a $1,100 buy-in, along with a $500,000 guarantee. The full WPTDeepStacks Tampa festival takes place from June 5-19, with more than $1 million in guarantees across the festival.
The WPTDeepStacks Tampa festival features notable side events leading up to the WPTDeepStacks Main Event. The festival opens on June 5 with a $360 buy-in event with a $250,000 guarantee. On June 9, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa hosts a $1,650 buy-in event with a $100,000 guarantee.
Last year’s WPTDeepStacks Main Event at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa resulted in 620 entries and a total prize pool of more than $600,000. Quentin Jones won the event and the more than $116,000 first-place prize.
The Seminole Hard Rock Tampa poker room features 46 tables and includes many amenities including 40 TVs and a full-service bar.
