Los Angeles, CA (June 22, 2018) – World Poker Tour® and Zynga Inc (Nasdaq: ZNGA), a leading social game developer, today announced Zynga Poker as the official title sponsor of WPT500™ Las Vegas, taking place June 25-July 3, 2018, at ARIA Resort & Casino.
The title sponsorship represents the first major element of the multi-year partnership between the WPT® and Zynga Poker in lead up to the new WPT-themed, in-game tournaments set to launch on Zynga Poker later this year. As title sponsor, Zynga Poker will be sending a group of VIP players to compete in one of the biggest and best poker events of the year.

In the first year, WPT500 Las Vegas saw Sean Yu take the title and $260,000 in first-place prize money. In the second year, Craig Varnell won the event for $330,000. In year three, it was Andreas Olympios scoring the victory for $260,000. In the fourth year, Jon Borenstein won the tournament for $230,000.
The Zynga Poker WPT500 Las Vegas starts Monday, June 25, at ARIA Resort & Casino. The $570 buy-in event features nine starting flights across the dates of June 25-July 1, with Day 2 and Day 3 to fall on July 2 and July 3, respectively. Each starting flight allows late registration and reentry for the first eight levels, and players are permitted to register and play multiple Day 1 flights. Those qualifying for Day 2 on multiple occasions will take their best stack forward.
Each Day 1 flight finishes in the money, with 12.5 percent of the starting field paid. In the starting flights, play will end when five percent of the field is reached. The Zynga Poker WPT500 Las Vegas will be played using a big blind ante.
