Tournament Rules

Action Clock:
The Action Clock by Protection Poker will be used after level 16 on Day 2. See WPT Action Clock Rules for more details. Time extension chips will accumulate and not be reset.
Ante Format (Big Blind Ante):
Single ante will be posted by the player in the big blind, in the amount equivalent to the big blind. Ante is posted before the big blind and players are eligible to collect the entire ante, even when out of the big blind. Ante is maintained until the completion of the tournament.
Buy-In & Fees:
$3,200 +$300.
Late Registration:
On-Site Registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Day 2, Level 11.
Levels, Per Day:
Day 1 & Day 2 levels will last 60 minutes each. Day 3 Levels will be 60 minutes until 40 players remain, then will go to 90 minute levels. Day 4 Levels will be 90 minutes until players reach the Final Table of 6. Final Table Levels will be 60 minutes & 30 minutes Heads-Up. The Final Table of 6 will be televised.
Payouts:
One in eight (1-in-8) entries will be in the money (approximately 12.5%). Winners must show valid ID to collect winnings.$10,400 USD will be withheld from the prize pool and issued to 1st Place in the form of an entry to the WPT World Championship held in Las Vegas.
Players Per Table:
Tables will be 9-Handed at the start of the event and 8-Handed at the start of Day 3.
Players Card & Players Releases:
In order to play in the event, each player must sign the WPT Player Release Form and have the Playground Rewards Card.
Registration & Re-Entry Rules:
If a player entered into any starting day and has been eliminated from the tournament, the player may re-enter or register for a subsequent starting day. If there are multiple bags, the best stack will move forward.
Rules:
Tournament Director Association (TDA) rules will be used, unless House Rules apply. Please, see tournament staff for House Rules. Participation in WPT tournaments is subject to rules and rulings set forth by the applicable venue(s) and/or WPT (e.g., tournament rules, sponsors). Tournament Director’s decisions are final. Any unauthorized chips introduced into tournament play will be immediately removed upon detection without substitution. Any parties determined to be responsible for the introduction of said chips will be disqualified without refund. It’s each and every player’s responsibility to bring to management’s attention unusual chips, circumstances, or irregularities. Time extension chips are considered tournament chips.
Seating Redraws:
A redraw will occur at the end of Day 1 & 2. Players will also redraw at 24, 16, and 9 players or at Tournament Director’s discretion.
