Las Vegas, NV (July 14, 2023) Bin Weng won the first-ever World Poker Tour® tournament hosted in partnership with the One Drop Foundation, WPT® EveryOne for One Drop at Wynn Las Vegas. Weng scored a massive top prize of $2,227,054, defeating WPT DeepStacks Champion Scott Baumstein heads up on Friday evening.

“By the end of Day 3, yesterday, I became another final table chip leader with six remaining. I’ll be honest with you, I didn’t sleep all that well last night because I was too excited,” said Weng as he graced the winner’s circle. “I don’t know what to say right now. I mean, I’m really, really happy for sure, and I’m really grateful right now for being this far in a short period of time.”

The $10,500 buy-in event attracted 1,676 entries via three starting flights. The sum generated a $16,257,200 prize pool, which allotted a cash to the top 210 finishers, and raised $335,200 for charity. A total of $209,500 went to the One Drop Foundation and $125,700 went to the Wynn Foundation.

“We are delighted to have raised over $300,000 for the One Drop and Wynn foundations and their noble missions. We see this as a sign of good things to come in our charity endeavors together,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “Thank you to the Wynn Las Vegas staff for putting on such a spectacular event, and to the players for making a difference in people’s lives.”

When the field was cut to three, the players negotiated an ICM deal to even out the remaining payouts, while still competing for the title, trophy, and nearly $400,000 to the eventual champion. As the runner-up, Baumstein earned $1,503,988 and Niko Koop took home $1,872,438 for his third-place finish. They were preceded by Freddy Heller (4th place – $956,000), WPT Champion Dominik Nitsche (5th place – $700,100) and Tom Cannuli (6th place – $524,500).

A slew of other notable players secured a cash at WPT EveryOne for One Drop, including Stephen Chidwick (16th place), four-time WPT Champion Darren Elias (19th place), 2022 WPT Prime Championship winner Stephen Song (39th place), two-time WPT Champions Matt Giannetti (60th place), Noah Schwartz (65th place), and Jared Jaffe (97th place), 2022 WPT World Championship winner Eliot Hudon (66th place), WPT Global Ambassador Ethan “Rampage” Yau (127th place), Chris Moneymaker (141st place), and many more.
