Las Vegas, NV (October 26, 2023) – In the build-up to the WPT® World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, *ClubWPT™ members will have the chance to play against one of the greatest poker players of all time, World Poker Tour® Ambassador Phil Ivey. The Phil Ivey WPT Duel on Nov. 19 will ultimately award two WPT Prime Championship Passports and give two players a shot at securing a seat in the $10,400 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
“Looking forward to playing heads up against the two ClubWPT players at the same time,” said Ivey, WPT Ambassador. “Should be fun and competitive.”
The Phil Ivey WPT Duel begins with a qualifying tournament on Nov. 19 at 5:00 p.m. EST on ClubWPT. The top two finishers in the tournament will each be awarded a $2,500 WPT Prime Championship Passport, paving their way to Las Vegas in December.
The pair will reconvene on Dec. 10 during the World Championship festival at Wynn Las Vegas, where the two players will face off against Ivey in a heads-up battle. The matches will occur simultaneously at the same table on the main stage at Wynn’s Encore Ballroom. If either of the ClubWPT players emerge victorious, they will earn a $10,400 WPT World Championship seat.

The Phil Ivey WPT Duel was originally the last opportunity for ClubWPT members to win a WPT Passport to the World Championship festival.
Now, two events have been added to the schedule. On Nov. 12 and Nov. 19, ClubWPT will hold a tournament, each to award a $12,500 WPT World Championship Passport. The passports will ultimately bring the number of ClubWPT qualifiers attending the festival to over 100.
