Roberto Vahlis (pictured) and Jean-Luc Adam bagged the two top stacks from their respective starting flights in the Season XV partypoker World Poker Tour® Caribbean Main Event. Vahlis finished atop the first starting flight on Saturday with 145,700 in his stack. Adam finished Sunday’s action with 123,200 in chips.

On Saturday, 60 entries were tallied, and on Sunday there were 210 entries, putting the total field size thus far at 270. With Day 2 kicking off at 5 p.m. local time in Punta Cana and registration open until approximately 8 p.m., you can expect this field to get a bit bigger. With each entry costing $5,000, there’s going to be plenty of prize money to play for.

Outside of Vahlis and Adam, other big stacks included Gustavo Mastelotto (118,200), George McDonald (107,950), Seth Berger (105,975), and Frank Romanello (104,525).

Heading into Day 2 on Monday, just under 200 players have already advanced, and any late registrants or re-entries will be added to that number come the start of play.
