World Poker Tour has added a new Season X stop at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. The WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open will take place February 10-14, 2012, and feature a $3,500 buy-in with a re-entry option. A non-televised event, this stop comes ahead of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, the Season X televised event set for April 18-23, 2012. Expected to draw top professionals and Florida grinders alike, the final table of the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open will feature WPT Live Streaming with Tony Dunst and a special poker pro as the guest commentator.
Other World Poker Tour TV talent and staff will also be attending, as Mike Sexton and the Royal Flush Girls are also scheduled to visit Hollywood, Florida for the new tournament. Players will be able to mingle all week at the Royal Flush Girls Social Bar, which has quickly become the popular hangout during WPT Season X as we saw at the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic when Robin Leach spent some time hanging out with the girls at that final table.
Commentary from the WPT Live Streaming team will be available on the WPT Live Streaming page on February 14, 2012, when the WPT Main Event final table plays down to the newest WPT Champion and the next poker player to get their name on the WPT Champions Cup.
