Today the WPTDeepStacks continues with Day 2 getting underway at 8 pm* tonight. There are two more opportunities to get involved in the action with the last Day 1 flights still to play. This is the first time a WPTDeepStacks event has run on partypoker.com, meaning you could be the first champion of this flagship event and become a part of WPT History!
Incredibly, the $3,000,000 event has already eclipsed its guarantee and that pot is only going to grow today. The figures aren’t confirmed yet and won’t be until the last Day 1s have taken place, but what we do know for sure is that several players will walk away with a six-figure cash sum.
WPT and partypoker don’t like to do things by halves of course so there is a Mini WPTDeepStacks event taking place alongside it, and that will also progress to Day 2 this evening. The buy-in may be a fraction of the price but there is still a $1,000,000 guarantee up for grabs. The opportunity to spin up from a relatively modest buy-in to life-changing money, has attracted big names and recreational players alike to the virtual felt, with the incredible value the tournament offers clear for all to see.
WPTDeepStacks – $1,050
There were two starting flights yesterday and Stefan Jedlicka (348,338) took through the biggest stack in the first. Darrell Goh (346,435) finished a fraction behind and Luigi D’alterio (315,757), Joseph Joey Singels (314,449) and Davide Marchi (313,872) rounded out the top five.
Stefan Schillhabel (309,261) was just behind them and the German pro wasn’t the only notable in the running, with partypoker Millions UK runner up Christian Rudolph (295,093), Hungarian high stakes regular Andras Nemeth (232,580), Rui Ferreira (159,967) and Viktor Blom (139,258) all bagging. Anthony Spinella (68,690) and Davidi Kitai (62,258) also had a stab and managed to scrape through to Day 2.

There wasn’t much difference in field size, with Diogo Cardoso (561,432) coming out on top of the 264 field, compared with the 226 in the earlier flight. Alfred Karlsson (481,879), Faraz Jaka (464,906), Luis Faria (421,329) and Super High Roller runner up Juan Pardo (335,873) all had very productive evenings.

They have some stellar competition to contend with however, as Dominik Nitsche (537,290), Team partypoker Patrick Leonard (536,577), Stefan Schillhabel (422,910), Georgos Zisimopoulos (262,149), Anton Wigg (246,034), Jason Wheeler (221,255), Aylar Lie (194,655) and Dimitar Danchev (126,128) all nabbing themselves a seat in the second round.
