For almost a decade, and long before his appearance at the final table of WPT Legends of Poker Season X, Will “The Thrill” Failla has been knocking on the door of WPT final tables. Over the past ten seasons, Failla has cashed in seven different WPT events, finishing in 56, 39, 27, 25, 17, 16 and 15th places, just a hair’s breadth from that elusive final table. So, to those who have seen Will deep in WPT events and many other major live poker tournaments, this WPT final table appearance comes as no surprise.

Hailing from Commack, NY, Failla plays extensively on the East Coast but racked up his first major live poker tournament cash back in 2005 at the World Series of Poker. His first WPT cash came just a year later back on his home coast at the 2006 WPT Borgata Poker Open where he finished 16th for $33,000. Add his WPT accomplishments to almost 20 WSOP cashes and final tables and it adds up to more than $3 million in career live tournament earnings and a very respectable poker career.

Make sure to tune in to, or set your DVRs for, FSN on Sunday at 8pm and 11pm local time to see if Failla can become the next WPT Champion to have their name etched on the WPT Champions Cup. Reaching the final table is already a major accomplishment, but a WPT title would be icing on the cake.
